Medieval Town (Worldwise)
Published in School & Library Binding by Franklin Watts, Incorporated (March, 1997)
Authors: Daisy Kerr and Gerald Wood
Average review score:

Great for low level readers!
I am a teacher and I found this book to be informative, yet low enough for some of my struggling readers. The pictures and type font are not "babyish," but are attractive to older kids.

Meditation & Needs
Published in Audio Cassette by Adawehi Press (01 May, 1999)
Author: Jackie Woods
Average review score:

Meditation and Needs is an incredible tool!
I love this tape! There is so much more than instruction or information here - there is experience. When I listen to the tape I am not just listening to words or being emotionally moved but I am interacting on a spiritual level. The content is massive and yet so simply delivered.

The Meditation side of the tape has been so helpful even though I have meditated for years. The author gives great suggestions on getting comfortable and quieting the mind and emotions. The short guided meditation at the end is simple, effective, and worth doing every day.

The Needs side of the tape is mind-blowing. It introduced me to an entirely different way of understanding my relationship to the world and to others. The tape shines a new light on what it is to have a need and how to get a need met. My awareness has greatly expanded from listening to the Needs side. I found the author's treatment of love and abundance especially profound. A helpful meditation is included at the end of this side as well.

I am grateful that this tape is a part of my life. It never grows stale or irrelevant. I highly recommend this tape!

Meeting God at Every Turn

Author: Catherine Marshall
Average review score:

Wonderfully Inspirational
I bought this book at 11:00 a.m. and was finished by 8:30 p.m. the same evening. Such an easy read and so truthful and full of love, laughter and tears. Catherine Marshall wrote honestly about her life and her constant struggle with her relationship with God. Her honesty was touching. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

Mini-Cheers: Carving Miniature Santas (Schiffer Book for Woodcarvers)
Published in Paperback by Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. (August, 1995)
Authors: Ron Ransom and Jeffrey B. Snyder
Average review score:

Great book for anyone........especially beginners
This book really caught my interest. I was looking for some beginner projects that involved Santas. I couldn't be happier with my results. The 'old-world' style looks great, especially for santas.

If you like santa carvng, I definitely recommend this book.

The Ministry Marathon: Caring for Yourself While You Care for the People of God
Published in Paperback by Abingdon Press (December, 1999)
Authors: Tim Wright and Lori Woods
Average review score:

Energizing!
This book could not have been written at a better time for clergy. Demands are high at home, at church and in the community. Tim Wright's call for us to look at our ministry over the long haul rather the short sprint has been transformational for me. I'm not a runner, but I wanted to buy a pair of running shoes to remind me to keep going even when we're about to "tank". Thought it was so good that I bought it for a friend. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Mirkwood (Middle-Earth Role Playing)
Published in Paperback by Iron Crown Enterprises (January, 1995)
Authors: J. Rummler, S. Hitchcock, P. Fenlon, Peter C. Fenlon, Susan Tyler Hitchcock, John David Ruemmler, and Seth Wood
Average review score:

Quality supplement
This book by Iron Crown is a quality addition to the middle earth roleplaying world - it combines excellent material with an easily understandable, logical presentation pattern. I personally find Mirkwood the most fascinating area of Middle Earth, and to be able to acts within it is great fun. Dwarf, elf or hobbit; no character should be without a bit of first hand experience under the portentious bowers of this ancient forest. If you only buy one supplement for the MERP game system, this should be it!

The Mitchell Beazley Red Wine Guide: A Complete Introduction to Choosing Red Wines
Published in Hardcover by Mitchell Beazley (May, 2000)
Authors: Jim Ainsworth and Simon Woods
Average review score:

Overflowing With Valuable Information
This guide lists wine producing areas, where they can be found worldwide, their quality, price, and worth (which do not always match). The book is a great addition to your library whether you are a newcomer or an old pro who wants to experiment in different red wines without spending a fortune. At the end of each entry, readers will find a very helpful "What Should I Try Next" section. Highly recommended.
